Did you know that buildings and residential homes account for 18% of Canada’s greenhouse gas emissions? In an effort to encourage proactive change, the government has released The Canada Greener Homes Grant to help homeowners make their homes more energy-efficient.
How do I apply for the grant?
The process is quite easy. Visit the official website for all the details, but in summary, it’s three steps.
Step 1
Register and book your pre-retrofit evaluation
Eligible homeowners in Canada regardless of where they live, can participate in the initiative. Only one homeowner per home can register. You can learn more here.
Step 2
Plan, document, and complete your home retrofits

Book your post-retrofit evaluation and apply for reimbursement
