Giant Electric Water Heater with Ecopeak®
This bottom-entry water heater from Giant® features Ecopeak® technology and is equipped with three elements of various wattages. Its bottom water entry offers 10% more ready-to-use hot water. Compared to a traditional two-element water heater, the three-element water heater represents a lower demand distributed more evenly throughout the day.
The water entry and outlet are equipped with factory-installed heat traps to minimize heat loss. The interior of the tank is coated with a zircon-enhanced blue cobalt glass for maximum corrosion resistance, a feature that is unique to Giant.
Automatic temperature controlAdjustable thermostats will provide years of reliable, trouble-free service at the desired water temperature. A safety cut-off is provided for abnormal conditions.
InsulationA thick, uniform blanket of eco-friendly insulation keeps your water hotter for longer periods, reduces stand-by losses, and lowers energy costs. Contains no HCFCs (hydrochlorofluorocarbons), CFCs (chlorofluorocarbons), HFCs (hydrofluorocarbons) nor VOCs (volatile organic compounds).
Electric elementsAll models are equipped with CSA-approved bolt-on immersion elements made by Giant. These elements can be easily replaced with no special tools, resulting in low maintenance costs.
Glass-lined inner tankA uniquely formulated blue cobalt glass enriched with zircon is fused to specially treated steel at 1,600°F (871°C), creating a coating that offers maximum protection against corrosion for many years. The tank is certified at a test pressure of 300 PSI (2,068 kPa) and a working pressure of 150 PSI (1,035 kPa).
High quality magnesium anodeProvides excellent protection against the corrosive effects of water and extends the life of the tank.
Drain valveTamper-resistant, one-piece drain valve for easy drainage.
Overflow systemA 90° elbow overflow tube is supplied with each residential electric water heater.
Factory-installed temperature & pressure-relief valveProtects the tank from the damaging effects of excessive temperature and pressure.
Factory-installed 3/4” npt di-electric nipplesExtend the life of the water heater by providing excellent corrosion protection.
Factory-installed heat trapsHelps reduce the migration of hot water, thus limiting heat loss escaping through inlet and outlet fittings.

1Click specializes in cold-climate air-source heat pumps that have been tested and proven to be reliable, even in our cold Canadian winters. We offer both central ducted heat pump systems and ductless mini-split heat pumps. Our mini-split heat pumps are available in single-zone or multi-zone configurations to suit your needs.
Single-zone mini-split heat pumps have one indoor air distribution unit, generally called a “head”, that attaches to a single outdoor unit which looks similar to a standard air conditioner. Multi-zone mini-split heat pumps have multiple indoor units or heads that attach to a single outdoor unit. Choosing between the two depends on your home. Single-zone units are designed for keeping a small space or a specific room at a single temperature. Multi-zone units can serve more than one area independently and at different temperatures, making them flexible whole-home solutions.
There are a few reasons why switching to an electric water heater is better than gas. Gas water heaters are typically more expensive than electric ones, use more energy, and don’t last as long. In comparison, electric water heaters are generally cheaper, use less energy, and last longer. Win-win-win! Thought natural gas was the cheapest fuel source? Think again. Watch our video to find out why natural gas is not as cheap as you think.
