Pony Panel
Extend the capacity of your current main service panel with the Pony Panel, also known as a subpanel. If your existing electrical panel cannot accommodate the addition of an air source heat pump, electric water heater, or other electricity-based appliance, a pony panel can be installed to add breakers while ensuring compliance with building codes.
Capacity Extension: Extends the capacity of your main service panel, accommodating additional electrical loads.
Safety and Efficiency: Ensures safe and efficient management of increased electrical demand.
Professional Consultation: 1Click Heating & Cooling provides expert advice to determine the necessity of a pony panel for your situation.
1Click Heating & Cooling will conduct a pre-installation inspection to determine if a pony panel is required to move forward with your home comfort system upgrades. To install a pony panel, sufficient space around the existing electrical panel is needed. The area must be free and clear of any wires, plumbing, shelving, or other obstructions.

1Click specializes in cold-climate air-source heat pumps that have been tested and proven to be reliable, even in our cold Canadian winters. We offer both central ducted heat pump systems and ductless mini-split heat pumps. Our mini-split heat pumps are available in single-zone or multi-zone configurations to suit your needs.
Single-zone mini-split heat pumps have one indoor air distribution unit, generally called a “head”, that attaches to a single outdoor unit which looks similar to a standard air conditioner. Multi-zone mini-split heat pumps have multiple indoor units or heads that attach to a single outdoor unit. Choosing between the two depends on your home. Single-zone units are designed for keeping a small space or a specific room at a single temperature. Multi-zone units can serve more than one area independently and at different temperatures, making them flexible whole-home solutions.
There are a few reasons why switching to an electric water heater is better than gas. Gas water heaters are typically more expensive than electric ones, use more energy, and don’t last as long. In comparison, electric water heaters are generally cheaper, use less energy, and last longer. Win-win-win! Thought natural gas was the cheapest fuel source? Think again. Watch our video to find out why natural gas is not as cheap as you think.
